Fairy Queen Itinerary

Fairy Queen is the wolrd's oldest rolling locomotive. It started its journey in the year 1855 and had been operational till 1908 when due to some reasons its regular operations were halted. In July1997, the Indian Railway restarted its operation as a heritage train from Delhi to Alwar and from there the tourists are taken by a luxury bus to the world famous Sariksa Wildlife Sanctuary.

The itinerary of Fairy Queen includes 1Night/2 Days of a momentous journey. In this period you visit the beautiful city of Alwar, historical monuments of Delhi and the world famous Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. The train leaves Delhi Cantonment Railway station on every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the months of October to March.

Day 01 - Saturday
1000 hrs. Train leaves Delhi Cantonment Station
1030 hrs. Light Snacks on Board
1300 hrs. Lunch on Board
1500 hrs. Light refreshments on Board
1600 hrs. Arrival Alwar Railway Station
1620 hrs. Departure Alwar by Air-conditioned coach
1730 hrs. Arrival Hotel Tiger Den
1930 hrs. Cultural Programs, Theme dinner/Night Stay at Hotel

Day 02 - Sunday
0630 hrs. Jeep Safari for Tiger Sanctuary
0930 hrs. Return from Sanctuary & breakfast at Tiger Den Hotel
1200 hrs. Departure Sariska by Air-conditioned coach
1245 hrs. Arrival Alwar Railway Station
1300 hrs. Fairy Queen leaves Alwar
1330 hrs. Lunch on Board
1600 hrs. Light refreshments on Board
1845 hrs. Fairy Queen arrives Delhi Cantonment Station.
