Climate
The city of Rohetgarh has a comparatively dry climate except for monsoon.
The winter season ranges from mid of November to February and summer runs
from March to mid of June. Monsoons continue till September and retreating
monsoons are there till mid November. During winter, the maximum temperature
is 25'C and minimum is 9.6'C.
Location
An evergreen oasis in the arid land of Marwar, Rohetgarh is located at a
distance of 30 kms from Pali, 40 kms from Jodhpur and 280 kms from the city
of Udaipur. The nearest airports are at Jodhpur and Jaipur while railways
and roadways connect this town to various other cities via Jodhpur. The
lakes are linked to form a stream that constantly irrigates the dry lands
of Jodhpur city. Peacocks swagger around, resting on under finely carved
stone archways while the wind blows through the neem tree groves and bougainvilleas
in this oasis.
